My boss and I occasionally disagree. The great thing about our working in a public forum is that our grievances get aired out in front of the entire world (or at least the dozen people who read our blog entries).

Book learnin' and such

Here's the truth: I love what I do. I'm proud of what I do. I can accept that there are people who don't see the value in philosophy specifically, or a liberal arts education generally. What I can't accept is that the people in charge of our students' liberal arts educations don't understand what a liberal arts education is.

This is a personal subject, so I wrote a personal essay about it.
